This dynamic position involves supervising pharmacy operations, including stock management, quality control, and the supply of medications to patients and other pharmacies. Pharmacists ensure that storage conditions meet MSF standards, coordinate orders with logistics teams, and oversee the performance and training of pharmacy and nursing staff. They also manage pharmacy budgets, record consumption data, and assist patients in understanding their medication usage. This role is essential in ensuring that MSF’s medical supplies are safely and efficiently managed. MSF Responsibilities: Ensure the general functioning of the pharmacy and supervise pharmacy supply chain processes in line with MSF standards, protocols, and procedures. Oversee storage, stock management, and supply processes, maintaining hygiene, security, and proper storage conditions (temperature, humidity, light exposure) for drugs and medical materials. Coordinate the delivery, reception, and recording of international and local orders with the logistics department, updating stock files and informing line managers about stock levels. Supervise orders of medical and drug materials, ensuring efficient consumption patterns within budget constraints. Supervise the supply of drugs to patients based on medical prescriptions, informing them about consumption patterns and ensuring their therapeutic progression. Ensure efficient supply to other pharmacies supported by MSF, using cold chain protocols when necessary, and monitoring orders to prevent stock shortages or expired drugs. Supervise pharmaceutical and nursing staff in collaboration with the human resources department, ensuring correct team sizing, recruitment, training, performance evaluation, and knowledge development. Record all received and dispensed items in 'Isystock' (programme) and report on drug consumption, unusual patterns, and forecast future needs. Assist in training nursing staff regarding drug dispensing and their side effects. Requirements: Degree in pharmacy management, nursing, or related medical field. At least one year of certified work experience as a pharmacy supervisor. Fluency in both mission and local languages. Computer literacy in Word, Excel, and internet use.
