Kubernetes Platform Site Reliability Engineer - Openshift, Git Ops - This is a long term contract opportunity requiring profound Openshift and Linux knowledge for our Basel based client in the financial sector.Your tasks: Designing, deploying, and maintaining Kubernetes clusters within an Open Shift environment using Git Ops practices Developing and implementing strategies for container orchestration, scaling, and management Supporting development teams in the adoption and efficient use of container technologies Utilizing shell scripting, Python, or Golang for automation and management tasks Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical challenges related to containerization Providing third-level support and design input for Open Shift and container-based solutions in an enterprise environment Your experience/knowledge: Experience as a subject matter expert in Kubernetes Fluency with code management solutions, particularly GIT, and proficiency with CI/CD tools Openshift is highly desirable Proficiency in Bash, Python, and/or Golang for automation and scripting Experience in Red Hat Enterprise Linux systems administration Proven track record of providing third-level support and design input in an enterprise environment Language skills: English - fluent in written and spoken Very good communication and collaboration skills, with a team-oriented mindset and focus on achieving common goals.
