Your tasks This position is part of the research project “Swiss hospital capacity planning: An empirical evaluation of its impact on hospital service delivery, quality and costs”, funded by the Swiss National Fund (SNF). As a working student, you will: Conduct analyses with empirical methods using large datasets from the Swiss Federal Statistics Office and other sources Support literature reviews Show initiative and drive your tasks independently and with high motivation Work and communicate effectively in a structured manner and cooperate with PhD students on defined tasks Your profile We are looking for highly qualified and motivated candidates: Outstanding grades in a Master's program in the field of economics or econometrics, or management studies with a clear quantitative focus, or similar with a grade point average of at least 5.0 Experience in handling large datasets Strong analytical skills (e.g., microeconomics, applied econometrics) Good knowledge of at least one programming language (e.g., R, stata, python) and high motivation to improve econometric skillset Outstanding teamwork ability Result-oriented working style with a high degree of initiative, creativity, and team spirit Very good knowledge of English, both written and spoken; fluent in German is a plus
