Our mission is to enable high-performance, nanomaterial-based electronics through automated characterization and scalable device integration.What You Will DoRole DescriptionWe are looking for a data scientist to refine and further develop our proprietary analysis and AI algorithms used for nanomaterial live measurement, characterization and selection. You will be responsible for building and structuring our database platform and develop further our analysis framework.This is a high-impact role at the intersection of data analysis, AI, and nanotechnology. You will work closely with our nanotechnology team to develop algorithms that make processes more accurate, faster, and more reliable. Beyond coding, you’ll help define how AI is embedded into our product roadmap and contribute to architectural and technical decisions that shape our company.ResponsibilititesAs an early member of the nanotechnology team, you’ll take ownership in multiple areas:Algorithm development and refinement:Improve machine learning and data analysis algorithms for nanomaterial characterization.Optimize for speed, robustness, and accuracy in real‑time measurement environments.Software integration:Build modular software components that connect AI algorithms with robotic control and data acquisition systems.Ensure modules are scalable, well‑documented, and ready for commercial deployment.Data pipelines and infrastructure:Design and implement data pipelines for handling experimental, simulation, and production data.Support reproducibility, traceability, and continuous model improvement.Performance monitoring:Develop metrics and monitoring tools to evaluate model performance in live experiments.Identify failure cases and drive iterative improvements.Cross‑functional collaboration:Work closely with hardware, robotics, and physics experts to align AI solutions with experimental realities.Translate complex scientific requirements into software implementations.Start‑up contribution:Support technical roadmap planning.Bring in new tools, methods, or frameworks where they add value.Contribute to a culture of engineering excellence and knowledge sharing.Your ProfileBackgroundMaster’s or Ph D in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, Applied Physics/Mathematics, or a related technical field.Strong track record in machine learning and data analysis projects, ideally with exposure to experimental nanotechnology environments.Skills & QualificationsTechnical skills:Knowledge of semiconductor/quantum device data or materials science.
