Location: Zurich, Zurich, SwitzerlandJob ID: R Date Posted: Company Name: HITACHI ENERGY LTDProfession (Job Category): IT, Telecom & InternetJob Schedule:  Full timeRemote: NoJob Description: The opportunity As Regional  IT Service Delivery Manager (SDM) for Central Europe, you are responsible for building and providing specific IT Solutions/Services interfacing the business, consulting with the Region and Site BU leads, business application owners and IT stakeholders on IT-related topics.  In this role, you are responsible for ensuring all IT infrastructure and applications are delivered to the site as well as management of Ticket Management and Escalations. The Regional IT SDM is the key point of escalation and is accountable for local business relationship management for IT service performance; you are responsible for aggregating demand for new and improved IT services required by the business and ensuring overall business satisfaction with IT services. In addition, you will lead Regional IT professionals, while managing vendor relationships, and ensuring that service delivery processes and procedures are followed to meet the organization's objectives. How you'll make an impact Provide the interface to the business, consulting with the local BU leads, IT stakeholders & application owners within the business on IT-related topics - This position is a stakeholder facing role & requires management of expectations within the business  Lead a multi-country team of IT specialists, providing appropriate & efficient IT solutions/services to a defined sites. Manage hosted IT resources & support global IT projects in respect of Hub implementation  Accountable for development & management of an organizational entity for delivering IT services, solutions & activities in the region. And for end-to-end IT service delivery incl. onsite services & IT/OT cybersecurity operational mgmt. at sites  Aggregate demands for new & improved IT infrastructure services required by the business & ensure overall business satisfaction with existing infrastructure services  Accountable for the assigned country scope ensuring that delivery of business processes/projects supporting IT systems/projects is aligned to business & function needs, resulting in improved efficiency, effectiveness, quality &/or operational functionality  Prioritize tasks & responsibilities to manage global, regional & local requirements & escalations seamlessly accordingly to the global targets & strategy  Responsible for compliance of IT services to local law, local license compliance & local IT controls compliance and for respective regional IT budget  Guides, motivates & develops direct & indirect subordinates within HR policies, for benefit of both company & employee  Your background Bachelor's degree in Comupter Science or Engineering preferred, and  15+ years of experience in Information Systems 5+ years prior experience in IT with 2+ years prior experience in IT management role Fluent English communication skills & good local language skills of the major country of responsibility 2 years of experience in project management of complex global projects Experience in process management, business process improvement, business process management, or value stream mapping Experience with manufacturing operations methods, process, and change management is an advantage.
