Production focused: You've designed, built and deployed systems that run in production and understand what it takes to keep them reliable and scalable. Committed to sustainable, high-quality development: You care about design excellence and back it up with robust testing practices — leveraging modern automation tools and methodologies to keep quality high and code maintainable. Systems designer: Experience with distributed systems, blockchains, security protocols, or cryptography is a plus. Technical experience: You hold a Master's or PhD in computer science (or related field); or bring equivalent experience that demonstrates deep technical skill and curiosity. Functional mindset: Experience with functional programming is nice to have, but what matters most is clean, thoughtful and expressive code. Strong communicator: You can explain complex ideas clearly - in code, in writing, and in conversation. Experience writing technical documentation is a bonus. Financial prowess: Familiarity with financial markets or related systems is a bonus, but not required - we value an eagerness to learn just as much as prior domain knowledge.
