We are currently hiring German Language Teachers to provide face-to-face customized lessons to our clients in Bern, Switzerland. Job Information:  Reference:  Students: 1 adult Availability: Wednesday morning (8:00 am – 12:00 pm), Friday evening (4:00 pm - 8:00 pm), Saturday morning (8:00 am – 12:00 pm). Flexibility needed Preferred start date: Monday, October 20, 2025  Lesson Frequency: 2x a week; 1hr. lessons Student's location: Near Spitalgasse, Bern, 3011, Switzerland  Current target language level: Beginner Native and other spoken languages: Romanian, English - Advanced/Native; French - Beginner/intermediate Student's language needs and goals: The student would like to be able to handle basic day-to-day activities in the local language: going to the grocery store, ordering at a restaurant, doctor appointments, connecting with local authorities for regular paperwork, and asking for directions • Building vocabulary• Reading and writing• How to be polite in the new country• Ordering at restaurants• Going to the doctor• Presentation tips• Texting• Popular hobbies or interests in the new country• A guide to shopping• Business culture• Business language• Giving compliments• Using public transportation• Phone calls• Interviews• Making friends• Cooking traditional food Responsibilities: Delivering tailored, dynamic, effective, and engaging lessons Developing curricula based on learners' proficiency level and desired outcomes Monitoring students' progress and guiding learners towards learning goals Communicating in an efficient, effective, and professional manner Qualifications: To have native or near-native written and spoken proficiency in the German language To have a degree or certification in teaching, linguistics, or similar field To have a minimum of two years of teaching German language experience All Global LT instructor positions are freelance positions.
