The Network Architect will be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining the network infrastructure to ensure secure and efficient data communication. Activities Network Design and Implementation: Design and implement new network solutions and improve the efficiency of current networks. Install, configure and support network equipment including routers, proxy servers, switches, WAN accelerators, DNS and DHCP. Network Performance Monitoring: Monitor network performance and troubleshoot problems and outages. Schedule updates and upgrades. Engage in data network fault investigations. Security: Secure network systems by establishing and enforcing policies, and defining and monitoring access. Collaboration and Support: Collaborate with network architects on network optimization. Support and administer firewall environments in line with IT security policy Your profil A masters degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science or Information Technology and at least 10 years experience in network engineering. Proven experience as a Network Architect or similar role in a large organization. In-depth understanding of communication protocols and network hardware and software. Particular expertise in Cisco technologies, Clearpass, Fortinet, Akamai, Microsoft, AWS, Palo Alto, Ansible, Terraform, Linux and scripting languages. Experience with network diagnostic, monitoring and analysis tools. Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
