Remote Proprietary Day Trader – Stocks, Options, and Futures (Independent Contractor) Join Maverick Trading as a remote proprietary trader in Zurich, Zurich, using firm capital, structured risk rules, and professional coaching to grow your trading business. We are one of the rare proprietary firms with a long history in options trading, and we also work with traders in stocks and futures. Our traders are diverse in background but similar in mindset: they value discipline, process, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Trade stocks, options, and futures using capital allocated by the firm Follow a written trading plan and refine it as you gain experience Apply risk controls, position sizing, and trade management rules Participate in training, coaching, and performance review sessions Maintain detailed trade logs and performance metrics Treat trading as a professional endeavor, not a casual pastime What Maverick Provides Starting capital allocations up to $40,000 , with room to grow to hundreds of thousands for consistent traders Profit splits that can increase up to 90% as you progress through the firm’s levels Education, coaching, and support designed for both newer and experienced traders Risk management rules that protect both the trader and the firm Remote trading flexibility—you choose your location and setup An environment that respects traders who are serious about their craft Ideal Candidate Profile Strong interest in day trading or active trading Ability to follow rules and manage emotions under pressure Comfort with performance-based outcomes Willingness to learn from both wins and losses A reliable computer setup and stable internet connection Prior trading experience is helpful but not required if you’re committed to learning Compensation & Risk Disclosure This is a performance-based trading role, not a salaried or hourly job. Traders are compensated through a share of trading profits according to the firm’s payout structure. Capital allocations start up to $40,000 and may increase with consistent, risk-aware performance.
