Discover your exciting role As a Senior Engineer BIM/VDC, you will be responsible for driving the technical implementation and advancement of BIM/VDC processes in high-end projects within the chemical, pharmaceutical, and biotechnology industries. Explore your tasks and responsibilities Develop and implement BIM/VDC strategies across interdisciplinary project teams Ensure model quality with a focus on data integrity, clash detection/prevention, and design consistency Coordinate model-based data exchange between disciplines (MEP, process, architecture, etc.) Provide technical guidance to project managers, clients, and project stakeholders Optimize project delivery through custom templates, metrics, automation scripts, and standardized VDC protocols Conduct internal trainings and promote knowledge sharing Show your expertise Degree in engineering (e.g. process engineering, building services, architecture) or equivalent qualification Continuing education or degree in BIM/VDC is a plus (MAS, CAS , MSc) Appr. 5 years of professional experience in model-based planning and coordination of complex industrial projects (e.g. chemical, pharma, energy, data centers) Proficiency with BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks, ACC, and ideally Plant 3D or MagiCAD Experience in interdisciplinary coordination and issue management for MEP systems and/or process plant design Solid skills in MS Office and high IT affinity Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a collaborative mindset Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style Fluent in German and English (spoken and written) Contact: You want to be part of the Exyte team?
