Head of data management – asset management

For one of our clients, an asset management company based in Geneva, we are looking for the following role:ResponsibilitiesLead and oversee the firm’s data management framework to support investment operations, with a particular focus on private equity activities.Supervise and mentor a team of data and systems professionals, fostering collaboration and operational excellence.Act as the main point of contact for the private equity system, coordinating with Investment Solutions and Fund Control teams to ensure optimal performance and continuous improvement.Guarantee data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across systems.Collect, analyse, and prioritise business requirements from various departments.Design, document, and enhance internal processes to improve efficiency and ensure data quality.Develop and implement automation tools, dashboards, and reporting solutions to support decision-making.Collaborate with IT, investment, and compliance teams to ensure data processes meet regulatory and business standards.Drive innovation by identifying and implementing new technologies or tools that strengthen data governance and operational capabilities.Required profileUniversity degree in Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.Minimum of 10 years’ professional experience in data management, systems administration, or business analysis within asset management or financial services.Proven experience in leading and developing teams.Strong expertise in data governance, system integration, and process automation.Excellent command of MS-SQL, SQL Server Reporting Services, and advanced MS Office tools.Familiarity with private equity operations and investment management systems is an asset.Fluent in English and French, both written and spoken.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong sense of integrity and accountability.All files will be treated with the utmost confidentiality.Seniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionInformation Technology#J-18808-Ljbffr
