Main purpose, tasks & responsibilities As Vice President Sales, Aerospace & Defense Americas, you will provide dynamic leadership to achieve and exceed HUBER+SUHNER’s revenue goals. This is a central role in expanding the Company’s reputation and presence in the Aerospace and Defense market as well as directing strategies for development of significant new channels in that market.Main tasks include: Lead and manage the assigned Sales team. Motivate the Team so that the Team reaches highest performance. Develop a dynamic and progressive regional sales team. Provide leadership, direction and development programs for relevant sales personnel under direct supervision. Ensure all direct reports adhere to Company policies and that they engage actively, professionally and progressively with customers in the nominated market segments, in a highly ethical manner at all times. Take ownership for and ensures appropriate team, sales targets are achieved and exceeded. Apply resource as budgeted. Business planning, strategy implementations, budgeting, forecasting. Develop, implement and manage the performance of sales channels in line with the HUBER+SUHNER strategy, creating sustainable and profitable growth. Make sure that plans, budget and business are aligned and take appropriate measures to ensure that the department is delivering in accordance with the approved targets and management guidance. Anticipate, plan for and measure business conditions occurring within the nominated regional market segments and drives proactive, professional initiatives to achieve set objectives. Develop progressive business relationships with key decision makers within target customer base and be a primary first escalation for customers in any need beyond the responsible
