Network Security Engineer

We are recruiting for a global technology and IT services company that offers a diverse range of digital solutions and consulting services to clients across various industries. Operating in over 90 countries, it's focusing on technologies such as artificial intelligence, data analytics, cybersecurity, Internet of Things (IoT), cloud services, and more. Network Security Engineer Support • Assessing security threats and the effectiveness of necessary security measures • Initiating, if necessary, appropriate measures to ensure security • Creating firewall policy concepts • Creating high-level, detailed, test, and integration concepts • Creating, revising, and adapting operational concepts, operating manuals, and user guides • Developing technical layouts as a basis for implementation • Maintaining documentation systems such as IPAM (IP address management) and RMDB (Resource Management Database) • Setting up and conducting Proof-of-Concept (PoC) tests • Rolling out systems, including acceptance testing • Creating, submitting (change management), and implementing approved change requests • Monitoring network management systems • Analyzing, documenting, and resolving firewall events, incidents, and problems • Analyzing existing firewall environments for improvement potential and developing and implementing improvement concepts • Leading task forces and workgroups to resolve incidents and problems • Working during maintenance windows and on weekends • On-call availability Work Location This requires work at customer premises in Bern (main), Dübendorf. Remote work is not possible. Prerequisites • German language B2 level • Security Clearance as per PSPV ) • Work permit for Switzerland • Swiss residence Certifications • Check Point Certified Security Expert (CCSE) or • Check Point Certified Security Master (CCSM) or • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or proof of equivalent certification
