IT Infrastructure Engineer

United Machining is looking for an experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer to manage and optimize our on-premises IT infrastructure while supporting our Microsoft Azure environment.You will ensure system availability, security, and performance in a dynamic industrial setting.Your tasksAdminister Windows/Linux servers and virtualization platforms (VMware, vSphere, Hyper-V)Manage networks, storage, and backup solutions (Veeam, Acronis)Ensure compliance with data protection and disaster recovery policiesAutomate tasks using PowerShell, Bash, or PythonMaintain Active Directory, GPOs, SSO, and RBACManage Group Policies, DNS, DHCP, and LDAP.Ensure compliance with standards (ISO 27001, GDPR) and maintain documentationYour profile5+ years of hands-on experience managing on-premises IT infrastructureMicrosoft Certified: Windows Server AdministratorVMware Certified Professional (VCP)Strong experience with :Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) and Linux (CentOS, Ubuntu, RHEL)VMware vSphere, Hyper-V, or other virtualization platformsbackup and disaster recovery solutions (Veeam, Acronis, etc.).Proficiency in network administrationExperience with enterprise security solutions (firewalls, VPN, endpoint protection, SIEMs).Ability to write scripts in PowerShell, Bash, or Python for automation.Familiarity with monitoring tools like Zabbix, Nagios, etc.Experience with migrations from on-prem to MS AzureBenefitsClear vision and purposeSustainability and innovation focusWe have high sustainability and innovation goals.
