Haskell / Plutus Developer

We are building anautonomous, distributed, and intelligent funding platformfor open-source blockchain projects. It enables proposal financing, budgeting, and financial control for L1 blockchain development such as Bitcoin and Cardano. The platform uses DAO governance and smart-contract-based escrow to enforce milestone-based payouts, while AI agents monitor project progress, verify evidence via oracles, and trigger disbursements. Our goal is to enable transparent, community-driven, trust-minimized project financing at scale – with end-to-end auditability, automated delivery validation, and integrated governance, dispute resolution, and contributor identity to reduce fraud. To support our growth and strengthen our core protocol team, we're looking for aHaskell / Plutus Developerto help us build and scale this funding infrastructure on Cardano. What you'll do Design and implement smart contracts on Cardano's Plutus platform, powering DAO governance, milestone-based escrows, and dispute resolution flows. Research and develop scalable, efficient eUTXO models tailored to multi-party funding, payouts, and complex state transitions. Architect and implement DApp / DeFi-like protocols for trust-minimized project financing on a UTXO-based ledger. Integrate with AI agents and oracles, ensuring reliable verification of off-chain evidence and automated on-chain disbursements. Collaborate in a small, fast-moving team to design, build, and iterate on new features from concept to production. Take end-to-end ownership of components: architecture, implementation, testing, documentation, and maintenance. Help define and refine engineering best practices, standards, and methodologies within the team. Write clean, performant, well-tested, and well-documented Haskell/Plutus code that can be reused and extended over time. What we're looking for Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience in a crypto/tech startup environment. Strong Haskell proficiency and familiarity with functional programming principles. Solid understanding of Cardano's eUTXO model. Exposure to Plutus Core and Cardano's PAB (Plutus Application Backend). Proven experience leading projects from start to finish (architecture, implementation, delivery). Genuine interest in DeFi, DAOs, and decentralized funding mechanisms, with enthusiasm for the Cardano ecosystem. Knowledge of modern build pipelines and CI/CD practices. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills. Good command of English, both written and spoken. Nice to have Previous experience working in a Web3 / blockchain company or project. Contributions to open-source Haskell, Cardano, or DAO-related projects. Experience with governance systems, oracles, or identity frameworks in decentralized environments.
