As part of the QC Biologics PhysChem Technology Team in Visp, the Intern (f/m/d) supports in analytical instrument qualification, promotes the adherence and continuous improvement of Quality Control and ensures lifecycle of the equipment. Key responsibilities : Initial qualification, requalification, service of the equipment (ph, conductivity, water baths, osmolality, photometry, turbidity, color) for the physical chemistry laboratory according to guidelines and procedures Plan and coordinate related activities, ensuring effective communication with QA, QC, and relevant stakeholders Collaborate closely with laboratory analysts and provide support to scientists Operate within systems such as LIMS, iLab, and the Documentation Management System Troubleshooting, cleaning, and maintaining of the laboratory equipment Deliver training to laboratory analysts on proper equipment usage Key requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, IT, or a related technical discipline Prior experience in the pharmaceutical industry is advantageous Understanding of GMP and experience is an advantage Proficiency in both German and English Strong willingness to learn and grow professionally Structured, focused and well-organized working attitude Open-minded for new ideas and suggestions, highly motivated and dynamic drive Team-oriented mindset with flexibility to support a variety of tasks within the technology team Every day, Lonza’s products and services have a positive impact on millions of people.
