Company OverviewOur client is a prominent player in the retail industry, known for their innovative products and commitment to customer satisfaction. As a Trade Finance Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth trade operations, mitigating financial risks, and optimizing cash flows.
Position OverviewAs a Trade Finance Analyst, you will be responsible for managing trade finance transactions, analyzing creditworthiness, monitoring compliance with trade finance regulations, and providing strategic insights to optimize financial processes. Your expertise will be critical in supporting the company's international trade activities and ensuring efficient cross-border transactions.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough analysis of trade finance transactions, including letters of credit, bank guarantees, and documentary collections.
- Assess the creditworthiness of trading partners and evaluate the associated financial risks.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with trade finance regulations and industry standards.
- Monitor trade finance activities, including the timely processing of documents, fund transfers, and reconciliations.
- Identify opportunities to streamline trade finance operations, improve cash flow management, and reduce financial risks.
- Prepare insightful reports and presentations to communicate trade finance performance and recommend strategic actions.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Proven experience in trade finance operations and risk management, preferably in the retail sector.
- Strong knowledge of international trade finance instruments, including letters of credit, bank guarantees, and documentary collections.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficient in trade finance software and MS Office applications.
- Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
