Sensory & Consumer Senior Scientist - Fragrance Expert

Job OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Sensory & Consumer Senior Scientist to join our R&D Fragrance Center of Excellence in Switzerland. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing sensory performance measures and insights for all Coty fragrance & skin care brands and their competitors.
Responsibilities- Supporting R&D and marketing teams by developing and executing sensory tests, analyzing data, and communicating results to stakeholders.
- Owning the testing phase, including designing protocols, preparing samples, and documenting results in the Sensory Quality Manual.
- Managing trained external panelists, including screening, selecting, and training new panelists.
- Ensuring consistency of data and identifying gaps to fill them.
- MSc in Sensory and Consumer Science or equivalent.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the cosmetics industry.
- Good statistical knowledge (univariate and multivariate), proficiency with XLSTAT or similar tools.
- Excellent software skills, mainly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Analytical mindset with capacity to manage different activities at the same time.
- Pro-active, self-motivated, and able to set priorities and respect deadlines.
- Fluency in French and English.
- Experience with one of the standard Sensory packages (Compusense, Fizz, EyeQuestion).
- A competitive salary of $120,000 per year, plus additional benefits including lunch allowance, annual local public transport pass, 25 holiday days per calendar year + 3 floating days offered by the company.
- Coty's global omni-working policy provides the option to work up to 50% of your month remotely.
A telephone/online introductory meeting follows, followed by a first online/in-person interview, a second interview, and finally a proposal with the terms of employment.
