Computer Vision Engineer for Real-Time Shelf Reconnaissance

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Computer Vision Engineer to join our team in Zurich, Warsaw, or Tampere. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer vision and deep learning, with a proven track record of delivering state-of-the-art algorithms.
What You Will Do
- Design and implement end-to-end quality metrics for digital shelf representations.
- Be involved in all phases of model development, including data collection, analysis, prototyping, testing, and optimization for production readiness.
- Collaborate with the team to define the architecture and provide technical leadership for processing algorithms.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research relevant to our work.
- Extend our product offering to run in real-time and on the edge.
- Mentor ML/CV engineers.
Requirements
- A Master's degree or Ph.D. in Computer Vision/Deep Learning.
- At least 5 years of experience in solving computer vision problems.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality computer vision algorithms (e.g., publications, launched products).
- Fluency in Python and another language (e.g., C/C++, Go, or Rust).
- Experience with machine learning software packages (PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn, OpenCV).
- Strong software design, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Creativity, determination, and attention to detail.
