Axpo Gruppe is seeking a seasoned expert in identity management to join our Cloud & IT Infrastructure department. As a Lead Identity, you will play a crucial role in shaping the secure digital future of our organization.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the design, implementation, and operation of our group-wide Identity and Access Management (IAM) environment. This involves driving cloud-first transformation, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting Axpo's digitalization strategy. You will also lead a skilled international team, consisting of internal and external experts, to drive the strategic evolution of IAM systems across the organization.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop the Corporate Identity Management team, including managing authentication, authorization, and lifecycle management of digital identities.
  • Ensure highly secure and efficient hybrid operations for IAM infrastructure (AD, EntraID), collaborating with external service providers and internal teams.
  • Act as the central point of contact for all identity and access-related topics within IT and across the business.
  • Support the definition and implementation of IT architecture in alignment with enterprise architecture and overall cloud strategy.
  • Champion key cloud-native principles like Zero Trust and Any-to-Any Integration.
  • Shape and represent technological requirements within committees (Architecture Board, Demand Board, etc.).
  • Strengthen the cloud landscape through meaningful transformations and innovative development.
  • Ensure compliance with internal and external regulatory frameworks (GRC, security, audit).

Requirements:

  • Degree in business or information technology (or similar), with 10+ years of experience in IT organizations.
  • Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure, Active Directory, and identity & access management systems, with experience with M365 being a plus.
  • Solid understanding of IT security in cloud services, especially around risk-based, secure-by-design strategies.
  • Proven experience in leading and developing high-performing teams.
  • Strong analytical, solution-oriented mindset with high levels of reliability and independence.
  • PASSION FOR DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION AND STAYING AHEAD IN THE DYNAMIC CLOUD SPACE.
  • Skilled communicator with a customer-focused approach and experience working in global, agile teams.
  • Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
