Senior DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team at Octopus Energy. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability and scalability.

• Design and implement scalable and secure cloud infrastructure using AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
• Develop and maintain automation scripts to streamline deployment and management of infrastructure
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation of applications
• Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure issues to ensure high availability and performance
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve infrastructure design and operations

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in DevOps engineering, cloud infrastructure, or related field
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform), containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes)
• Proficient in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell) and automation tools (Ansible, Terraform)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
