About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our field service team, you will be responsible for installing, commissioning, and troubleshooting Bossar equipment worldwide.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Installation and commissioning of Bossar equipment worldwide
  • Troubleshooting and diagnosing breakdowns on machines already installed, using test instruments and non-technical descriptions provided by customers
  • Developing small PLC program modifications
  • Preparing comprehensive service reports, time sheets, and expense reports in a timely and accurate manner
  • Performing updates and preventive/corrective maintenance plans at customer sites
  • Supporting customer technical issues through remote support when not traveling
  • Developing technical documentation
You Will Bring These Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • An intermediate or higher degree in Mechanics, Electrical, and/or Electronics
  • 2–3 years of demonstrable experience working with machinery, with experience in flexible packaging machinery highly valued
  • Know-how in Electromechanics, with foundational knowledge of electronic programming considered a strong plus
  • Solid communication skills in English (intermediate level minimum required); Chinese language skills are also a plus
  • A willingness and availability to travel worldwide
