Role Overview:
As a Population Health Insights Lead for Population Health Group, you will be responsible for developing R packages to support our transition from Excel to R-based model development. This role requires a strong background in epidemiology, with experience in developing R packages and utilizing statistical programs such as R or SAS. You will also need excellent communication and organizational skills, with fluency in English, both oral and written.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing R packages to support the group in transitioning from Excel to R-based model development.
  • Analyzing different data sources, including Real-World Data (RWD), population health datasets, and literature to collect model inputs.
  • Identifying, assessing, and utilizing high-quality epidemiological data sources to generate epidemiology forecasting models that support strategic access and business-related decisions across Roche's product portfolio.
  • Assisting the team in training and development as it relates to using and understanding R packages and codes.
  • Communicating and engaging with key stakeholders across the organization on the use of treatment impact models in decision-making.
  • Continuously evolving Global Access into an outcome-focused, agile organization by expertly identifying gaps, opportunities, and a clear line of sight to improve patient access and outcomes.
  • Maintaining and utilizing internal access and epidemiology infrastructure (databases and applications) for access and epidemiology research information networks at national and international levels.
  • Working collaboratively and strategically partnering across Roche functions, regions, and affiliates, and externally with key stakeholders.
