Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and cook regional and national dishes for school staff, students, and guests.
  • Implement parties and banquets, and train students in practical kitchen skills.
  • Theory and practical training of students, ensuring compliance with HACCP regulations.

Working with Students:

  • Practical Training Content:
  • Teach students the fundamental basics in the kitchen, including cutting, cooking, and serving.
  • Prepare and serve dishes from various origins, promoting mindfulness and hygiene standards.
  • Theoretical Training Content:
  • Explain preparation methods for fruits, vegetables, fish, and meats.
  • Differentiate between types of spices and their uses.
  • Cooking and shelf life methods of food.

Requirements:

To succeed as a Culinary Instructor at V-SELECT, you must have at least 3 years of professional experience as a chef, preferably SVEB certified.
