We are seeking a skilled Commodity Supply Chain Coordinator to join our team at STAEGER PERSONAL PARTNERS. As a key member of our metals operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating the supply chain of our commodities.
Your primary focus will be on vessel chartering, container shipments, and organizing rail, truck, and air transport. You will work closely with our chartering team to ensure timely delivery of materials and maintain open communication with clients and field offices.
You will also be responsible for negotiating supplier contracts, sales contracts, and final payments. Your analytical skills will help ensure accurate documentation, invoicing, and payment processing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Vessel chartering and container shipments
- Rail, truck, and air transport coordination
- Supplier contract negotiation and management
- Sales contract negotiation and management
- Final payment processing and closure of contracts
To succeed in this role, you will require a strong educational background and minimum 5 years of experience in a traffic role within a commodity trading company. Excellent English skills are essential, with additional languages being an advantage. A current Swiss B/C Permit or EU passport holder is also required.
