Your Responsibilities
The Institute of Insurance Economics at the University of St. Gallen is looking for a PhD Researcher (Research Associate) to join its Financial Economics of Insurance team. Current research themes include:Financial and insurance strategies for extreme risks such as pandemics, cyber threats, and climate change The impact of private equity ownership on insurance and the investment strategies of insurers in alternative assets Analysis of insurance protection gaps and the global insurance market structure The interrelationship between insurers, banks, financial markets, and credit rating agencies The Institute of Insurance Economics provides an informal, intellectually engaging, and dynamic work environment. Researchers will gain practical experience with research methodologies and have the chance to collaborate closely with both Swiss and international corporate partners, as well as leading academic institutions and global organizations.
Your Profile
Candidates are expected to enroll in the PhD program in Finance at the University of St. Gallen, which is affiliated with the Swiss Finance Institute.
