Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced avionics engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with Airbus aircraft and possess the following skills:

  • Comprehensive Understanding of Avionics Systems: Familiarity with avionics systems and components, including design, development, testing, and maintenance.
  • Troubleshooting and Repair: Proficiency in troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing avionics equipment, ensuring timely and accurate documentation.
  • EASA Regulations and Standards: Strong knowledge of EASA regulations and standards, including technical manuals and wiring diagrams.
  • Software Updates and System Upgrades: Experience with software updates and system upgrades, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Effective Communication and Teamwork: Ability to effectively communicate and work collaboratively with engineering teams and other stakeholders.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, ensuring prompt resolution of complex issues.

Responsibilities

  • Aircraft Safety and Compliance: Perform inspections, testing, and maintenance on avionics systems to ensure aircraft safety and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Defect Diagnosis and Rectification: Diagnose and rectify avionics defects, ensuring timely and accurate documentation.
  • Technical Modifications and Upgrades: Collaborate with engineering teams to implement technical modifications and upgrades, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Industry Advancements and Regulatory Changes: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry advancements and regulatory changes, applying this knowledge to improve existing systems and processes.
  • Junior Engineers and Technicians Support: Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and technicians, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.

Qualifications

  • EASA Part 66 Cat B2 License: Possess an EASA Part 66 Cat B2 license with type ratings on Airbus aircraft.
  • Relevant Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in avionics engineering, demonstrating expertise and accomplishments in the field.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluency in English; knowledge of German or French is an advantage, enabling effective communication with diverse stakeholders.
