We are seeking a dynamic and experienced all-rounder to join our team as Senior Project Coordinator. In this crucial role, you will coordinate, plan, manage, and execute tasks related to MRI activities, enhancing the visibility of mountains and mountain research within scientific organizations and science–policy platforms.
Responsibilities- Liaise with the Governing Body, Working Group leads, network members, external partners, and stakeholders to enhance the visibility of mountains and mountain research.
- Coordinate events such as workshops, webinars, seminars, and conferences, including liaison with external experts and contractors as required.
- Contribute to the production of publications and other outputs resulting from MRI activities, providing technical inputs and support.
- A Master's degree in Earth sciences or related fields, with demonstrable interest and/or experience in research management or facilitating inter- and transdisciplinary collaborations relating to mountain research.
- At least 3 years' experience in project management, including planning, coordination, and facilitation of scientific events and multi-stakeholder meetings, with strong analytical and reporting skills.
- Excellent intercultural communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with proficiency in English, German, and/or French.
