About the Role

SCHOTT, a global leader in pharmaceutical solutions, is seeking an experienced Equipment Commissioning Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our commissioning and qualification team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our camera-based inspection systems are properly commissioned, upgraded, and maintained.

Key Responsibilities

  • Commission, upgrade, and maintain camera-based inspection systems at our production sites and suppliers' facilities.
  • Perform Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) according to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Develop and implement training programs for local employees and maintenance teams.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and collaborate with the development team to implement changes.
  • Provide second-level support for test equipment within the production network and coordinate interface activities with third-level support teams or suppliers.
  • Maintain expertise on inspection systems across the global machine network and lead project management for rollout or upgrade projects as needed.

Your Background

  • A technical apprenticeship with further training as a TS technician.
  • At least 6 years of experience in maintaining global production machines and systems, preferably with camera-based systems.
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills, combined with a solution-oriented and methodical working style.
  • Motivating personality with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in German and English, with additional language skills a plus.
  • Willingness to travel regularly to our worldwide production sites (40-60% travel activity).

Compensation and Benefits

We offer an estimated salary range of €80,000 - €110,000 per year, depending on your qualifications and experience. In addition, you can expect a comprehensive benefits package, including flexible working hours, access to public transportation, canteen services, and holistic corporate health management.
