Job Title: Supervisor Packaging Operations

WuXi AppTec is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supervisor Packaging Operations to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing product packaging activities in compliance with GMP/cGMP regulations, hygiene rules, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and Coordinate Packaging Operations: Ensure adherence to the established production plan while conforming to procedures defined by the site's quality system.
  • Supervise and Train Team Members: Convey and explain work instructions, train or ensure the training of employees on procedures, and assign workstations.
  • Operate Packaging Lines: Intervene in case of technical difficulties, make necessary adjustments, and operate packaging lines in the absence of regular operators.
  • Maintain Quality and Safety Standards: Ensure compliance with hygiene, environmental, and safety (EHS) rules and guidelines, and control, record, and complete pre-established work documents.
  • Collaborate with EHS and Quality Assurance: Participate in the qualification/validation of packaging equipment, maintain performance indicators at the packaging lines, and communicate them to the teams.
  • Manage Projects and Continuous Improvement: Promote continuous improvement and LEAN within the team, manage projects, and maintain a healthy and safe work environment for personnel in controlled areas.
Requirements:
  • Education and Experience: Initial education level equivalent to Maturité and 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical production, with 5 years of management experience.
  • Language Skills: Thorough knowledge of GMP/cGMP environments and a good understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, particularly in solid form packaging. Perfect mastery of French and good understanding of English (level B2).
  • Skills and Abilities: Versatile, organized, rigorous, and a good communicator with excellent interpersonal skills for teamwork, natural leadership, and good managerial skills.
