We invite applications for a Research Scientist position in Data Science for Healthcare Innovation. As part of our interdisciplinary research team, you will play a key role in developing and applying data science approaches to identify volatile biomarkers associated with bacterial activity in urine samples.
This project has far-reaching implications for improving patient outcomes and reducing the growing antimicrobial resistance crisis. To succeed, you will need to demonstrate expertise in data science, programming skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement data science approaches to analyze high-dimensional metabolomics data
- Design and validate predictive models for biomarker discovery
- Optimize data integration techniques for multi-omics and clinical datasets
- Collaborate with clinicians, engineers, and microbiologists to translate findings into practice
Requirements:
- PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, Engineering, Biomedical Informatics, Bioengineering, or a related field
- Proficiency in Python programming
- Strong expertise in data science and statistical modeling
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (Proficient in English)
