About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Consultant to join our Finance Strategy & Transformation team at KPMG. As a Senior Consultant, you will play a key role in empowering companies to reimagine their financial functions and implement leading practice operating models.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work in a dynamic environment and provide strategic and operational advice to our clients to enhance the efficiency of their operating models.
  • Collaborate with clients to identify areas of improvement in financial processes and systems, and design strategies to optimize and automate end-to-end Finance processes.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and digitalization to improve and standardize financial processes, and implement proper reporting, planning, forecasting, and consolidation technologies.
  • Set up and optimize Shared Service Center and Outsourcing structures to streamline organizational models, and provide advise on role and qualifications profiles for future experts in Finance and Controlling.
  • Improve performance monitoring by implementing proper reporting, planning, forecasting, and consolidation technologies, and collaborate with KPMG experts on cross-functional projects to broaden the value proposition to clients.
  • Support proposals for the acquisition of new engagements, and contribute to marketing initiatives and publications to strengthen our visibility and credibility in the market.
Requirements
  • Bachelor or Master degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance/Accounting, Economics, Business Informatics, Business Engineering, or similar.
  • At least 2 years of experience in Transformation, Finance, or in a comparable environment.
  • Understanding of the dynamics related to Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) and consolidation.
  • Knowledge of ERP system functionalities (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.) is a plus.
  • Ability to deal with large amounts of data and experience with management information systems.
  • Strong capabilities in MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
  • Self-driven, eager to learn, and proactive personality.
  • Team player and very good communication and analytical skills.
  • Great interest in technology, Finance processes, and the development of creative solutions.
  • Fluent in French and English, German language capabilities considered a plus, willingness to travel completes your profile.
