Job Description

Oracle is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technology Engineering Cluster Leader to lead our North cluster Systems Technology Engineering team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive strategy that supports Oracle's sales across the full Systems portfolio of products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the North team of Systems Technology Engineers and individual contributors
  • Understand, communicate, and drive the strategy for the Systems organization
  • Demonstrate complete understanding of all technical aspects of the sales process and can lead all aspects of the technical sales process
  • Enable and empower the team to position the correct solution with a focus on customer outcomes
  • Own relationships with key customers from a technology perspective and ensure customer success
  • Advise the CIO/CTO and guide their teams on the workloads to focus on as they look to move their business to a cloud co-existence architecture
  • Participate in strategic and tactical planning for the division
  • Collaborate with the Business Development team
  • Demonstrate superior leadership and mentoring skills
  • Actively drive x-lob organizational collaboration
  • Build working relationships with the wider Tech TE leadership team, manage escalations
  • Regularly interact across functional areas with senior management or executives to ensure unit objectives are met
Requirements
  • Broad knowledge and experience in private and public cloud ecosystem and IT infrastructure and data center elements
  • Good understanding of the IT hardware market
  • Deep understanding of the Oracle database and associated technologies with ability to guide the team in architecting highly available, performant, and secure data infrastructure solutions
  • Understanding of newer data management paradigms around the Data/AI ecosystem would be beneficial
  • Good understanding of storage, Server and overall hardware technologies
  • Experience in a customer-facing role such as a consultant, solution engineer or architect
  • Experience in managing/leading a geographically dispersed team
  • Strong infrastructure architecture / design skills with a passion for technology
