For one of our clients, a private bank based in Geneva, we are looking for a professional to fill the role of Middle Officer.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all issues in the Shared Mailbox and transaction processing in the Avaloq system are handled in a timely and accurate manner.
- Collaborate with the team to identify and resolve operational discrepancies in a proactive and efficient way.
- Manage collateral on complex products, including crypto-currencies, private equity, internal funds, and real estate funds, as well as monitor asset price updates, trailer fees, and retrocessions.
- Oversee the update/release process, testing new functionalities, and correcting incidents in a quality-oriented manner.
The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work under pressure and set priorities effectively.
Required Skills and Qualifications:- At least 5 years of experience in a similar position.
- University degree or equivalent.
- Solid knowledge of banking operations.
- Familiarity with exotic/derivatives products, such as Hedge Funds, Private Equity & Real-Estate Funds, FX, Options, digital assets, and cryptocurrencies.
- Proficiency in Avaloq is a plus.
- Able to manage business deadlines and set priorities efficiently.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and dialogue skills.
- Quality-oriented, efficient, and reliable work ethic.
- Service-oriented approach.
