**Job Overview**

We are seeking an experienced Statistical Data Analyst to join our team of researchers and contribute to our ongoing projects in Bayesian statistical methods and computation. This role will involve working closely with our team members to analyze and interpret complex data sets, ensuring high-quality results that drive our research forward.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Contribute to various projects involving the modeling of spatio-temporal, health, and environmental data using R programming and Bayesian statistical methods.
  • Collaborate with team members to design and implement data analysis strategies, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Analyze and interpret large datasets to extract meaningful insights and inform research decisions.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code for data analysis and visualization, adhering to best practices and standards.
  • Communicate complex analytical findings effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

**Requirements and Qualifications**

  • Master's degree in statistics or mathematics with a strong focus on computational methods.
  • Proven experience with R programming and proficiency in Bayesian modeling and computation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex concepts into clear, actionable insights.
  • Able to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously and manage competing deadlines.
  • Familiarity with collaborative environments and excellent teamwork skills.

**Compensation and Benefits**

This full-time position offers an attractive salary of CHF 80,000 - 100,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus comprehensive benefits and opportunities for professional growth within a dynamic research environment.
