About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our central engineering team, supporting our growth and expansion in the European IT market.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in requirement refinement and planning quality assurance activities, working closely with the Development Team and Product Owner to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Create, maintain, and manage test plans and scenarios, ensuring thorough testing of products and services.
- Participate in full sprint cycles, collaborating with the Development Team to deliver high-quality products and services.
- Understand and foresee the quality state of products and deliverables, ensuring regular QA reporting and analysis of test and defect results.
- Drive QA ways of working to improve testing excellence and test management, analyzing and improving processes and artifacts accordingly.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a QA Engineer, with a strong background in application testing, including frontend and backend testing.
- Experience in managing testing environments, with basic knowledge of Azure DevOps, Selenium, databases, Linux, and Git.
- Experience in testing SOAP and REST APIs, with hands-on experience in test management tools and knowledge of different QA methodologies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to transform requirements into testing artifacts and participate in IT audits.
Desirable Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree or relevant education, with an interest in testing industry evolution and CI/CD practices.
- Experience in scripting, with knowledge of JavaScript, Python, or other programming languages.
- ISTQB Foundations Certification, with basic knowledge of test automation frameworks.
