Multifaceted Service Associate

POSITION SUMMARY

Respond promptly to guest requests and collaborate with other departments. Stock and transport a cart with supplies to assigned areas. Gain access to guest rooms following established procedures and verify vacancy before entering. Replace guest amenities and supplies in rooms. Update rooms with clean linens and terry. Prepare beds and fold terry. Clean bathrooms. Remove trash, dirty linens, and room service items. Verify that all appliances are present in the room and functional. Straighten desk items, furniture, and appliances. Dust, polish, and remove marks from walls and furnishings. Vacuum carpets and perform floor care duties in guest rooms and hallways.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Follow company and safety policies and procedures; report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete required safety training and certifications; store flammable materials properly.
  • Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
  • Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards; anticipate and address guests' service needs; assist individuals with disabilities; thank guests with genuine appreciation.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with others.
  • Support team to achieve common goals.
  • Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
  • Maintain physical stamina to perform tasks such as moving, lifting, carrying, and placing objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance and in excess of 25 pounds with assistance. Ability to push and pull a loaded housekeeping cart and other work-related equipment over sloping and uneven surfaces.
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education: No high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Related Work Experience: No related work experience is required.
  • Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience is required.
  • License or Certification: None are required.
