Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Silicon Photonics Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for mastering the ability to co-package Photonic Integrated Circuits (PICs) with Electronic ASICs and detector elements.

The environment inside a CERN detector is unique, and you will learn about its nature to assess the suitability of the co-packaging solution. This involves taking into account aspects such as radiation tolerance and material outgassing.

You will join a team of experienced physicists, technicians, and engineers who have decades of experience in bringing optical communications technology to the CERN detector environment.
