Senior Accountant

A leading player in the MedTech industry is seeking a skilled Senior Accountant to join their finance team. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a global company at the forefront of innovation while developing your career in a dynamic and rewarding environment.

• Produce and deliver monthly financial accounting packages in line with corporate deadlines, including key performance indicators (KPIs) for manufacturing, ensuring compliance with US GAAP.
• Conduct comprehensive Balance Sheet and P&L analysis, handle payroll, inventory, VAT reconciliations, and post associated journals.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with department heads and non-financial leaders to assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and cost management for production processes.
• Manage cost maintenance for Bills of Materials and participate in the standard cost update process annually.
• Oversee work order closing, analyze inventory transactions, and explain variances through collaboration with production supervisors.
• Support the physical inventory count process, contribute to cycle count development, and manage excess & obsolete (E&O) provisions.
• Collaborate with external auditors, prepare local statutory accounts, and assist with corporation tax computations.
• Ensure SOX compliance, review internal control procedures, and liaise with the business process outsourcing (BPO) team on AP, AR, cash management, and fixed assets.
• Contribute to internal and external audits as required.

• Qualified accountant with a minimum of 3 years' post-qualification experience.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and SOX compliance.
• Proficiency with financial systems, Oracle experience is highly beneficial.
• Advanced MS Office Suite skills, particularly in Excel.
• Fluent in both French and English.
• Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to work in diverse, multicultural teams.
