Clinical Pathologist

At IDEXX, we are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Pathologist to join our team in Switzerland (Zürich). As a Clinical Pathologist, you will play a critical role in providing diagnostic evaluation and consultation services to our clients.

• Conduct gross and microscopic examination of clinical pathology specimens and prepare pathology reports in a timely manner.
• Meet caseload and turnaround expectations.
• Provide telephone consultations to clients.
• Consult with and assist other pathologists as needed to promote collegiality.
• Partner with laboratory personnel to ensure proper specimen processing techniques.
• Participate in quality control programs and maintain proficiency through regular continuing education.

• Fluency in English and German, with French and/or Italian being a plus.
• Familiarity with current topics and issues in clinical veterinary medicine.
• Excellent verbal and communication skills.
• Service-oriented attitude and ability to organize and prioritize work.
• Computer skills and experience in a veterinary diagnostic laboratory are preferred.

• Board certification in clinical pathology from the American College of Veterinary Pathology (ACVP) or European College of Veterinary Clinical Pathology (ECVCP) is preferred.
• Applications from board-eligible pathologists are also encouraged, with support provided for studying for boards.
