Business Compliance Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Compliance Officer to join our team at Banque Pictet & Cie SA. As a key member of our Compliance department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity of our trading activities and maintaining a strong compliance culture within the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Participate actively in trade surveillance and best execution activities for all products traded at Banque Pictet & Cie SA, maintaining accurate and concise records of all investigations undertaken, including details on the rationale for any decisions made.
- Identify and investigate all alerts generated by our tools or brought to your attention by our traders.
- Review periodically the configuration and associated parameters of our tools to ensure that the controls and calibrations are still appropriate and efficient in the current market framework and aligned with our activities, and optimize the tools to enhance efficiency when necessary.
- Ensure that our trade surveillance and best execution activities are comprehensive, adequate, and in compliance with regulatory requirements and expectations, and ensure the regulatory watch.
- Foster a culture of compliance within the organization by promoting awareness and understanding of our procedures.
- Take part in other projects and committees and act as a backup for the rest of the team.
- University degree or advanced banking education with broad knowledge and general experience of compliance topics (market integrity and investor protection). Strong understanding of international financial market regulations.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in compliance.
- Excellent knowledge of the financial, regulatory, and banking environment.
- Excellent command of computer tools and investigative mindset.
- Excellent communication (both written and oral) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
- Fluent in French and English. German a plus.
- Must be resident in Switzerland or willing to relocate.
