Gi Group SA is seeking a highly skilled and organized Lab Supervisor to join our team at Roche Diagnostics International (RDI). The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing general lab operations, ensuring compliance with local regulatory requirements, quality, business, and industry best practices/standards within Roche Diagnostic Solutions (RDS).

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee designated laboratory areas, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, quality, and safety standards.
  • Enforce safety and laboratory practices, with the authority to deny lab users room access, impose re-orientation, and contact user's supervisor if necessary.
  • Manage lab documentation, ensuring quality, safety, and departmental compliance, and resolving documentation issues with equipment users.
  • Act as a point of contact with department scientific staff and cross-functionally with Subject Matter Experts in Calibration/Facilities to ensure minimal impact to Development project teams during installation, calibration, and validation of new non-Roche branded equipment.
  • Coordinate calibration, certification, relocation, and repair of existing equipment with Instrument/Facilities/Calibration team to minimize impact on project teams needing access to equipment.
  • Mentor/coach other Lab Supervisors, provide training, and seek opportunities to develop skills.
  • Participate in on-call services for CTU excursion.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Science.
  • Proficient with MS Excel and Google suite.
  • Experience in laboratory management, equipment management, and interfacing with stakeholders (1-3 years).
  • Fluent German and English (min. B2).
  • Self-motivated and solution-driven individual who can maintain quality, accuracy, and timeliness of deliverables.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and stakeholder management.
  • Good organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Team player, self-organized, and motivated individual.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with efficiency and handle multiple projects.
