About the Role

Viking is seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Guest Lecturer - Natural Science to join our Enrichment team on our Ocean vessels. As a key member of our team, you will deliver engaging and informative presentations on various natural science topics, providing a unique learning experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and deliver destination-based lectures on board our award-winning Ocean ships.
  • Conduct Q&A sessions following the lectures and provide scenic commentary where fitting.
  • Host tables for guests at dinner and accompany guests on shore excursions in various ports.
  • Be an ambassador for Viking and promote our brand values.
Requirements
  • Excellent public speaking skills and the ability to deliver knowledgeable and engaging presentations.
  • A degree or relevant personal experience in the field of natural sciences.
  • Lecturing experience within a college/university/cruise ship setting.
  • Computer literacy, including knowledge of PowerPoint.
  • Dedicated, flexible, and team-oriented with a positive and approachable personality.
  • Professional appearance and well-groomed.
  • Available to guests for questions, feedback, and general inquiries.
  • Excellent English language skills in both writing and speech; foreign language proficiency a plus.
