As an Integrated Demand and Supply Strategist at DSV, you will play a critical role in driving business results through the development and implementation of supply chain strategies. This involves collecting and analyzing customer demand, interacting with relevant business units and sites to develop and update integrated supply chain plans and schedules for timely product delivery.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Inventory management: Ensure the supply plans result in an efficient level of intermediate inventory that enables flawless execution of customer programs while minimizing inventory holding costs
- Risk assessment and scenario development: Identify potential discrepancies and risks across projects and business units, develop alternative supply scenarios, define customer and business impact, and recommend mitigation strategies
- Engagement with other supporting functions: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, procurement, and logistics, to align supply strategies with financial and operational plans
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of supply chain principles and standard methodologies, as well as familiarity with advanced planning systems and tools such as SAP Integrated Business Planning. They will also possess effective communication skills, customer-facing skills, and the ability to influence collaborators.
