We're looking for a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our Cloud Solutions team and help us drive innovation and build functional systems that enhance customer experience.

Responsibilities include:

  • Designing, deploying, and managing cloud infrastructure solutions using leading public cloud providers.
  • Developing and implementing infrastructure as code (IaC) and configuration management.
  • Introducing automation to improve performance, scalability, and security, reducing manual effort.
  • Designing, developing, and enhancing Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery pipelines to accelerate development cycles and ensure reliable releases.
  • Designing cost-effective solutions and services ensuring value is measured, tracked, and realized at key delivery points.
  • Implementing logging, monitoring, tracing, and alerting solutions for better visibility and faster incident recovery.
  • Providing guidance and recommendations to increase efficiency and reduce customer incidents.
  • Developing tools and processes to improve teams and customer experience.
  • Documenting products, processes, and tools with high quality.
  • Supporting software engineers in following the software delivery lifecycle.
  • Maintaining efficient communication with cross-functional teams, acting as a key stakeholder for project decisions.
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in cloud computing, providing strategic recommendations.

To succeed in this role, you will require:

A mix of the following skills and qualifications:

  • 2 - 3 years of hands-on experience designing, deploying, and managing solutions in Amazon Web Services (AWS) for medium to large-scale applications serving thousands or millions of users.
  • 2 - 3 years of experience in administering Windows or Linux server environments.
  • Experience in automation with at least one configuration/deployment management tool such as Ansible or Terraform.
  • Expertise with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Demonstrated experience in integrating monitoring and alerting tools, including Grafana, Datadog, New Relic, CloudWatch, or ELK.
  • Proven track record of building, optimizing, and scaling CI/CD frameworks and tools, seamlessly integrating them into day-to-day operations.
  • Good understanding of security and networking principles within a cloud-native environment.
  • Experience in working in an Agile fast-paced DevOps environment.
  • Problem-solving skills and adeptness at troubleshooting complex issues.
  • Very good German and English language skills.
