At skyguide, we are seeking a highly skilled Software Systems Specialist to modernize our application landscape and take charge of the safety-critical application ARTAS (ATM Surveillance Tracker and Server).
This is a key role within our ATM Surveillance Data Management engineering team, where you will be responsible for providing engineering support to analyze and resolve operational incidents, testing and integrating the application provided by the supplier, and validating it with technical and operational stakeholders.
You will also be tasked with maintaining documentation required for compliance, as well as providing training to maintenance teams in Geneva and Zurich. Additionally, you will contribute to international meetings related to surveillance and the ARTAS User Group.
To be successful in this role, you will need a degree in Aeronautics, Telecom, Information Technology or equivalent, along with proven experience in managing applications in an industrial environment with high levels of constraints in terms of quality and safety. You should also have sound knowledge of Linux-based applications, scripting, and IP protocols, as well as attention to detail, good analytical skills, and a solution-oriented approach.
We are looking for someone with proven experience in agile environments and fluent written and spoken English (C1). French or German is an asset. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a global team.
In exchange for your expertise, we offer a competitive salary of approximately $120,000 per year, plus benefits such as health insurance, pension plan, and paid time off. We are committed to providing a supportive and inclusive work environment that fosters professional growth and development.
