The Straumann Group is a leading provider in aesthetic dentistry, combining experience, scientific evidence, and innovation to offer high-quality solutions. As a pioneer and market leader in dental implantology, we have expanded our product portfolio in recent years.

We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to join our Global Production Industrialization & Transfers Team. This role will involve conducting projects from evaluation to closing phases, collaborating with stakeholders globally and locally, and managing teams to optimize project completion.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Leading projects from start to finish, assuming full responsibility for their success.
  2. Motivating and coordinating global and local project teams in a matrix environment to achieve optimal results.
  3. Identifying and mitigating project risks, contributing to continuous improvement.
  4. Developing and monitoring project schedules, managing budgets, defining targets, and setting KPIs.

For Product Industrialization:

  1. Developing strategies for execution and manufacturing, aligning with global strategy and engineering recommendations.
  2. Collaborating on preliminary feasibility assessments to drive design for manufacturing and quality.
  3. Transferring projects from global steering to local teams for execution and ensuring successful completion through effective solution implementation.

For Product Transfers:

  1. Defining transfer scope based on group strategy and global engineering inputs.
  2. Consolidating feasibility assessments with stakeholders.
  3. Creating detailed transfer plans and executing them.
  4. Supporting and monitoring successful implementation according to targeted performance metrics (COGS, quality…).
  5. Driving proactive proposals to ensure optimized processes in receiving sites.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering or a related field, with specialization in production/manufacturing techniques.
  • Experience in project management, understanding of production flows and requirements in an industrial environment.
  • Familiarity with problem-solving methods and tools (Lean manufacturing) and medical devices/pharmaceuticals experience.
  • English language proficiency (Level B2 minimum) and computer skills (Microsoft Office, SAP/ERP).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable in multidisciplinary collaboration.
  • Ability to manage priorities, timelines, and data-driven decision-making.
