We are seeking a highly skilled cybersecurity leader to head our Global Security Operations Center (SOC) and Security Incident Response (SIRT) teams at Liebherr-International AG. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in leading cybersecurity teams, developing incident response plans, and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure effective incident response.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, update, and enforce incident response plans, playbooks, and protocols to ensure timely and effective response to security threats.
  • Lead the Global SOC/SIRT in monitoring and responding to cybersecurity incidents, ensuring that all incidents are promptly identified, contained, and resolved.
  • Oversee continuous security monitoring and log analysis to quickly detect and address potential threats, leveraging industry-leading tools and technologies.
  • Coordinate threat intelligence gathering and share insights with relevant stakeholders to enhance our understanding of emerging threats and improve our incident response capabilities.
  • Manage cross-functional incident response efforts, ensuring clear communication during crises and minimizing disruption to business operations.
  • Direct digital forensic investigations and remediation actions following security incidents to ensure prompt resolution and minimize risk.
  • Regularly conduct drills, simulations, and post-incident reviews to enhance team readiness and response capabilities.
  • Collaborate closely with IT, IS, and Product Engineering and Operation Teams, as well as managed service providers (MSSP), to ensure seamless integration and effective incident response.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's/Master's in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 5+ years in cybersecurity and 3+ years in a leadership role, preferably in a similar function.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard certifications such as CISSP or CISM, ITIL or COBIT, TOGAF as well as Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Proficiency in English is mandatory; German and French are desirable.
  • Able to capture the big picture and collect meaningful details about the security posture of the company.
  • Able to master security automation/orchestration tools and platforms.
  • Deep experience with SOC and SIRT tools, and Threat Hunting & Intelligence platforms.
  • Knowledge of major vendors/technological stacks (Sentinel, Qradar, Elastic, etc.).
  • Able to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Able to manage and collaborate with stakeholders effectively.
  • Project Management skills.
  • Readiness for global travel, including occasional visits to other Liebherr locations.
