About This Role

This leadership position is part of the European Logistics Procurement team and is responsible for sourcing cross-border transportation (all modes) & pallets across Pan-European geography.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the sourcing strategy for Pan-European x-Border Transportation and Pallets to secure services at the optimum cost.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive supplier relationship management strategy, ensuring effective SRM deployment across >100 strategic & transactional carrier relationships.
  • Collaborate with LogOps and Legal to drive the Human Rights Due Diligence program and improve working conditions for the European driver force, ensuring Mondelēz International and its providers comply with related local legislation.
  • Enhance standard ways of working to ensure effective price management of embedded transport spend.
  • Own, lead, and drive delivery of ONE Pallet supply solution for Europe.
  • Set the 3-year strategic plan to exceed key deliverables in Productivity, Cash, and Simplification in x-Border Transportation and Pallets across Europe.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Solid procurement experience across several markets or on a regional level in Europe.
  • Strategic sourcing, risk management, and total cost ownership expertise.
  • Advanced negotiation and dispute/claim management skills.
  • Expert knowledge in logistics, specifically transportation procurement across the European marketplace.
  • Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain, or engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to manage ambiguity, work in a complex organizational environment, and make autonomous decisions.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Able to manage diverse projects simultaneously and set stretch targets.
  • Proven track record of leading and developing teams in a multi-cultural environment.
  • Fluent in English, with knowledge of other European languages a plus.
