Senior Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Manager to oversee the implementation and maintenance of quality standards within the Experimental Animal Center (EAC).
About the RoleThe Quality Assurance Manager will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, conducting regular audits and inspections, providing training and guidance to staff, and collaborating with study directors and principal investigators.
Key Responsibilities- Quality Assurance Program Development: Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance programs and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Audit and Inspection: Conduct regular audits and inspections of study activities to verify adherence to quality standards and identify areas for improvement.
- Training and Guidance: Provide training and guidance to staff on quality assurance practices.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with study directors, principal investigators, and facility managers to ensure that all research activities meet quality and regulatory requirements.
- Documentation and Record-Keeping: Manage and maintain documentation and records related to quality assurance activities.
- Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in a scientific or related field; a degree in Quality management, a Master's degree or higher is an advantage.
- Experience: Proven experience in quality assurance.
- Good Laboratory Practice (GLP): Experience with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) principles is an advantage.
- Management Experience: Proven management experience in complex structures.
- Communication Skills: Goal-oriented and have excellent communication skills.
- Independent Work: Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Language Proficiency: Proficiency in English; German would be an advantage.
